1. One-sentence summary
Kindled does not require sign-up, does not know who you are, and does not collect your name, email, or phone number. The only data the game touches is: (a) device advertising identifiers used by Google AdMob, (b) anonymous crash reports, and (c) save files stored only on your device (and optionally in Steam Cloud when played via Steam).

3. Data processed by Kindled
3.1 Advertising identifiers
To display optional rewarded ads (watch an ad in exchange for an in-game bonus), Kindled uses the Google AdMob SDK. AdMob may access your device advertising identifier (GAID on Android, IDFA on iOS) to target and measure ads. This identifier can be reset or disabled at any time in your operating-system settings.
Players who purchase the Guardian Pass never see ads — the AdMob SDK is not initialized in ad-free sessions.

3.2 Crash reports
We use Sentry to receive anonymous reports when the game crashes. Reports contain call stack, device model, OS version, and app version. They never contain your name, email, phone, or save contents.
3.3 In-app purchases
All purchases (Coin Packs, Guardian Pass, Supporter Pack) are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. HPS does not receive your card number, tax ID, name, or billing address. We only receive an abstract confirmation that a purchase was approved, along with the product identifier.
3.4 Saves & progress
Your progress (coins, upgrades, skins, achievements) is saved locally on your device via the OS preferences store. This data never leaves your device, unless you opt into Steam Cloud Sync (PC / Steam builds only).
3.5 Gameplay tuning (minimal analytics)
Aggregate events such as "deaths in stage X", "tutorial completion", and "purchase started" are logged anonymously so we can tune difficulty and fix issues. None of these events identify the individual player.
4. What Kindled does NOT collect
- Name, email, phone number, or postal address
- Government IDs or tax numbers
- Precise or approximate geolocation
- Contacts, photos, microphone, camera
- Payment or banking data
- Browsing history outside the app
- Biometric data
5. Legal basis (GDPR / LGPD / CCPA)
Processing relies on the following legal bases:
- Performance of contract — to deliver the game and process purchases.
- Legitimate interest — to fix crashes, prevent purchase fraud, and improve gameplay.
- Consent — for personalized ads, requested via the consent prompt (UMP on Android, ATT on iOS).
California residents (CCPA): we do not "sell" your personal information as defined by CCPA.
6. Third-party sharing
We share strictly-necessary technical data with the following processors:
- Google AdMob — rewarded ads. Privacy Policy.
- Sentry — error reports. Privacy Policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchase brokering.
- Steam (Valve) — PC build only, for DLC entitlement and Cloud Saves.
7. International transfers
Some of the processors above host infrastructure outside Brazil (USA, European Union). Where transfers occur, we rely on the safeguards recognized by LGPD / GDPR (standard contractual clauses, adequacy mechanisms).
8. Children
Kindled is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The game is rated for ages 12+ (light pixel violence, no profanity).
COPPA compliance: no personally identifiable information is collected from children. Ads shown to users whose Google Play account is marked as "children's content" are automatically restricted by AdMob.
9. Your rights
As a data subject, you may:
- Confirm whether we process data about you and access that data
- Request correction, anonymization, or deletion
- Withdraw consent to personalized ads (done directly in your OS settings)
- Obtain save portability (the files live on your device — we don't host them)
- Lodge a complaint with ANPD (Brazil), the data-protection authority of your EU member state, the ICO (UK), or other competent authority

10. Retention
Saves are retained on your device while the app is installed. Uninstalling Kindled removes all local data. Sentry crash reports are retained for 90 days. Purchase history is retained by Apple / Google for as long as those platforms choose.
11. Security
Communications with AdMob, Sentry, the App Store, and Google Play happen over TLS (HTTPS). Local save files are not encrypted — a user with physical access to the device and appropriate tools could read them. Since they contain no personal data, this is not a material risk.
12. Changes
We may revise this policy as the game evolves (new SDKs, new providers, new features). Changes are published on this page with the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes are notified inside the app.
